I'm still holding out hope that the Village is in a secluded valley on the island. A bigger question in my mind is where are the barracks and (especially) where is the barracks dock?
The map shows some things that I don't remember being discussed. The French Scientist camp, for one.....
Hi Lady! The map is part of a larger document which includes the coordinates. It is a large file and difficult to scroll, but very interesting. I am going to try to print it out on large paper.
Is the barracks the same as "the Door Station?"
I have not checked but Rousseau's map may plot the French Scientist's camp.

The Door Station appears to be where the Others had their fake camp (where they took Michael). I don't remember how Sayid got from the boat to that camp. Did he tie up at a dock?

Lady: I don't remember seeing Sayid leaving the boat and arriving at their fake camp. It's funny that Jin would not have wanted to go to, as he showed eagerness to have a gun??
