Snooze alarm ain't workin'?

Finally a solution for all of us that turn the alarm off and fall back asleep! This clock will get you up and 'runnin' in the morning!

I hate "Clocky" already.
Mainly because it's the kind of thing I need. Being a musician wasn't totally a choice...it had a lot to do with my unbridled hatred of the hours between 5 AM and Noon.
Actually, my "perfect" alarm clock is an idea I had years ago, where your clock randomly moves ahead anywhere from 1 minute to 1 hour just before the alarm goes off. Knowing that you MIGHT be looking at a time that's right or one that's WAY off, you have no choice but to get out of bed and check. Watch wearing strictly forbidden.

I like the "alarm sounds randomly" thing. Mine beep, beep, beeps monotonously.
I often dream that I'm driving a big truck in reverse and sleep through the alarm for long stretches.
Seriously.
I've even had dreams wherein the alarm clock is broken and won't shut off, so in my DREAM I go back to sleep despite the alarm...

I've actually had a neighbor call me up and tell me to turn off my alarm clock! I can sleep through ANYTHING....

Hi All! For years, I needed to set my alarm for uncivilized times: 1 am;3 am; 4am; 5am. Now the beeping sound is as pleasant as my dentist drilling a molar.

Lady: You must have a very soothing alarm?

GB: I like your ability to incorporate the alarm sound into a rational dream!

The dreams that incorporate my alarm are fun to talk about, but man do they SUCK when you need to be somewhere (like work) on time.
My "sleep self" is most definitely the stronger persona in that battle.

Sawsee, my neighbor didn't think it was very soothing.....!

Lady: Maybe you could get your neighbour to give you 'wakeup calls'; this way they have control over your alarm?? Slip them a few cookies occasionally.

GB: Your 'Sleep self' may be the beginnings of a cool graphic novel. Your 'awake self' could be the antagonist??

Sawsee -
Great idea, but ultimately pretty dull..."Sleep GB" would kick "Awake GB"s ass...
