When I worked at a used bookstore in my late teens, I came across a really cool star chart book.
Sort of "Stargazing for Dummies".
It took all the constellations and actually "drew" them, not by surrounding them with fancy drawings of a bear or connecting them up willy-nilly, the way most stargazing books do. It joined them together so the "Great Bear" actually LOOKS like a "Great Bear" or the "Crab" actually looks like a crab. Great book. I wish I could find more time to use it.

Hey GB! It sounds like a cool book. Having lived in the city for years, stars were barely visible and so my knowledge of the various stars/constellations wained! Now, that I'm in the country, night time is dark and allows for incredible star gazing.

One of these days I'll bring it in and scan some of it to post. It really does "decifer" the constellations really well.
