Build the perfect dinosaur...

That was fabulous!
I love the "Walking with..." series from BBC, but the only flaw was the lack of scale references. It's fine to say "Triceratops" was x feet high and y feet long, but I'm a visual person! I need to see scale in relation to a person or a car or something I can relate to. That video was amazing.

Great find! Best "making of" video I've seen yet.

OMG!! That was awesome. The raptor exoskelton suit was the best, that would be like the coolest thing ever to wear. How much fun would it be to run around all day chasing people in that thing and making the shrieking noise?

Hey GB & JDH! Yes, it would make for a hard-to-beat costume.
Great point about size references GB. I remember when I was in 'Social studies' in school, I had to write about our neighbourhood. Instead of referrring to homes with 'size' (sq.foot) or price references, I instead called homes 'average'. My teacher gave me a harsh criticism, calling my report "meaningless" as what was considered 'average' to me was not universal. I never forgot that lesson!

JDH! I wonder how far a person, with one of those dino-suits on, get before the helicopters started showing up? : )

I loved the way they made the big guy walk. While I'm sure it's very hard work and probably pretty thankless, it must be damned rewarding to see something like that up on a screen, knowing you had a hand in creating it.

So very cool. I wonder if they can build me a full sized, fire breathing purple dragon? I'd pay extra if they could get it to actually fly.

GB! You could walk back and forth in front of your store, blowing smoke & fire and handing out roasted marshmellows. I guess you will need to hire someone to manage the till.
