Book a mini-hotelroom.

At around 18 sq. feet, these overnight rooms at the Gatwick airport are small but efficient. They come complete with the amenities you would expect in a 'larger', typical hotel room.

When I was a kid, my parents would travel by train to Alberta about once a year. We'd get what was called a "roomette". These cabins remind me of that.

Cosy and snug! As long as you aren't clausterphobic...

I dreamed of a roomette, all we got (my Mother and sister) was an 'overhead'!

I liked travelling to the dining car too!

I'm not too sharp on my metric, but I liked how the room dimensions were in metric and the TV size was in inches.

Hey Sawsee -
We did the "overhead bunk" too. It seems I spent a LOT of time on trains as a kid. Best way to travel, IMHO.
