Guido Daniele continues to amaze.

Thanks newbie for telling me about Guido. And thanks Jess and JDH for your input on your fave. I've posted the elephant for you two. Or as Samwise Gamgee would say, "Look, Mr. Frodo--an Oliphant."

Wow. That's pretty cool, the elephant and the swan are really amazing.

Oh, I saw a magazine article about this guy once. Amazing! It said that he often uses his family as the models because it takes hours to paint, and he'd rather hold his kids' hands than a stranger's. I don't know which is my favorite. I like the eagle and the elephant a lot, but they are all awesome.

I never knew the artist's name until newbie mentioned him. He has many incredible examples, that I've have never seen before!

Jess: That's cool about using his family for 'hand models'.

lostbean! I think you are right! All elephants need intensive care.

In Thailand, I was at a tourist attraction and 30 adults were given a chance to collectively play 'tug-o-war' with a 'baby' elephant. When the owner let the elephant loose, 30 people were in the dirt.
