CR and I had a wonderful time in San Fran! My resistance to buying books was shattered and I soon found myself with bags of very heavy tomes. We explored virtually every corner of the city and had a great time driving the Oregon and California coasts.
I feel a bit rusty adding links, so many of 'new' entries may be 'old news'.
Yes, please keep it quiet about my book purchases! I hope one day to purchase great quantities at GreyBishop's Books in Ontario too.
I hope GB will overlook my weakness, but once I allow myself to stumble into a bookstore all control is lost and I soon find my wallet stuck to the cash register.
That's OK Sawsee. I got your cheque for your autographed copy of Bred in the Bone. Even if you never buy another book from me, that alone puts you at the top of my "gotta buy that guy a drink one day" list.
Sawsee, Dah-ling! Welcome home! We've missed you! I am happy to hear that you and CR had a fabulous trip, and it sounds like you left just in time to miss some brutal weather in OR and no. CA! Try to post some travel pics when you get a chance! Happy beginning of 2008, everyone!!!
We saw lots thousands (yes, thousands!) of fallen trees, along the coastal hwy, remnants from the November storm. Your idea about posting some pics of the trip is a great idea, and so, I begin with a few pics uncovering the mystery of Babe's missing head...

Here's to a very happy and healthy New Year!
Hey, Sawsee and Canine Ridge! You're BACK!!! You were sorely missed....
Happy New Year to you, too! Glad to hear that you had a wonderful time. (we won't tell GB about all of the books that you bought, though....)
Now that you are back, all is right with my world again....
:-D

Hello newbie! Happy new year!
