Oh, where were these when I took my Biology classes? I always hated torturing and killing these guys. Of course, neurological and other experiments might have been a little....um....flawed, but no guilt!
This reminded me of my "Free the Lab Frogs" caper..... >:-D
It was a long, long time ago. I don't remember the details but it was a group effort. A tankful of frogs left the lab in pockets, purses, gym bags, whatever...
I'm all for science and disection is a neccessary tool in both the learning and application of biology, but I too feel the sting of guilt at ending a froggy existence.
We only had to disect mice that were already dead in my high school.
over my educational years, i dissected 3 cats, and that stunk (literally and figuratively). nothing like going home and knowing what your cat looks like on the inside. :(
