That stuff warmes the cockles of my heart. Science is just so damned cool, particularly when it's coupled with innovative engineering.

It's great to see the integration of a few different, unlikely, specialties coming together to create innovations.
In this link he mentions about having the main lens of a space telescope, a few kilometers away from the second lens. What a mind-boggling thought!
Yeah, that hurt my head. Like a traditional telescope, without the tube. Too cool.
